8 bank branches now operational in New Delhi & NCR

New Delhi, Tuesday, August 13, 2019: Jana Small Finance Bank Ltd today launched its newest branch at Rajouri Garden, New Delhi. With this, India’s newest small finance bank has now expanded its bank branch network to 8 in New Delhi & NCR region. The bank is now serving over 93,596 customers in the region; across India, it is catering to more than 3.6 million customers, served by 14000+ employees spread across 250 +branches and 350 +Asset Centers

In sync with its brand promise — Paise ki Kadar (value for money) — Jana Small Finance Bank is offering 9% interest on 3-year Fixed Deposits; for senior citizens, the rate is 9.6%. The bank's Group Loan customers have been opening zero-balance Basic Savings Bank Deposit Accounts.

Inaugurating the Rajouri Garden branch, Chief Guest, Surender Pahal, President, Kabaddi Sangh- said, “The new branch in Rajouri Garden aims to deliver a complete Jana Bank experience to customers. Jana Small Finance Bank commenced operations in March 2018. By end of financial year 2019-20, 697 branches are expected be operational in at least 20 states and Union Territories, following conversion of many of its micro finance storefronts into bank branches.

The bank will continue to extend other product offerings like business loans, agri loans, affordable housing loans and gold loans to cater to the diverse needs of customers.
